Description
We love our boy, Patrick! Here is one horse that can do it all. Anything you need to do horseback, he will be your go-to and makes the job much more enjoyable. He’s also been seasoned, hauled and shown in team roping on the head end in AQHA shows and jackpots. Patrick has been roped on by a #4 to #8, including my wife that is true beginner roper. He’s easy in your hand and never strong. He leaves the box smooth, runs flat, has a good corner move and snappy face. He has great timing, perfect rate, and plenty of speed. He is quiet in the box with no silly business. You can rope 20 and he’s the same every trip. Patrick’s eager to please and doesn’t want to be wrong. He’s incredibly easy to train and easy to get along with. He’s extremely adaptive and goes with the flow no matter the job or task. Patrick is super easy to do all the reining and Cowhorse maneuvers on with fast spins, long stops, and automatic lead changes. His cow work is spot on and he’s push button to ride. He’s gritty down the fence and stylish on the short wall. Just point and go. He knows his job better than most his riders. Extremely cowy with all the talent and athletic ability wrapped up into one package. Patrick is easy to operate and will ride up or down to the level of rider on his back. If you want a solid, been-there-done-that all-around gelding, Patrick will be the one you catch. He ground ties where you leave him, willingly side passes to open and shut all the gates and is steady eddy through all types of terrain. He’s perfect out of the trails and has been exposed to all types of country. Patrick stays trained and stays gentle even with significant time off. He will fit anyone and everyone no matter how old or young you are or whether you are a top horseman or complete novice. He’s been a special gelding to us.
