Description

Good ol Murphy Ryder, or Murphy as we like to call him is a good honest mount. Murphy is a Missouri FoxTrotting gaited gelding. He stands a strong 15.1 and sports plenty of foot and bone. Murphy has a good wither to hold a saddle and plenty of substance. Murphy has a beautiful cherry red color with a few splashes of paint, He has chrome and a lot of eye appeal, and talk about a smooth ride!

Murphy is a true gentleman to be around on the ground. He is a very well-mannered gelding. He stands tied at the trailer, stands for farrier, and vet, and bathes well. He stalls well and enjoys turnout time. He gets along with other horses well.
Murphy is a trail rider’s dream. He is very brave and takes everything you expose him to in stride. Murphy is very nice on the trail. He will cross whatever you come to water, bridges, deadfall, wildlife, and traffic. We have shown him rocky terrain, gunfire, tarps, city lights, and cattle, all of which he has handled very well.
Murphy has a true one-hand neck rein, and is very light in the mouth. He backs up with ease.
He rides out alone just fine, you can speed his gait up or just walk him. Use him to check our cattle, enjoy a mountain ride, or ride him in the town parade, Murphy is willing to do the job. He has been countless miles on the trail, and is a seasoned trail mount.
Murphy is a super nice gaited gelding that would be superb addition to any trail riders barn.
