We have trail rode him many miles and took him on several camping trips. We have spent countless hours with him to make this young man into something truly special. You name it and he can do it!! He lays down, steps over to mounting block and even parks out to be mounted. He will also do other tricks like bowing and sitting. Blaze has had a lot of ground work and is very respectful but at the same time very in your pocket. He will give off both his hindquarters and shoulders. He is extremely good gaited and very very smooth! Has a to die for canter. He will lope circles, pick up both his leads and will lope as slow as you want to go. It’s like riding a QH that just happens to gait. He will neck rein around, has a great woa and reverse. Side passes both directions. You can open gates off him, rope off him, shoot off him seriously you name it and you can do it! He has great manners in the cross ties or being tied out. You can tie him to anything and leave him and not worry. He will also stand tied at picket line and respects an electric fence. Blaze handles like a big puppy. You can rub all over him and he will give you love right back. He loves being groomed on and loves baths. Is great with his feet and perfect for the farrier. Stands dead still to be saddled and drops his head to be bridled. Blaze will always ride off slow and easy no matter if you haven’t rode him for weeks at a time. He rides out with or without company. Rides anywhere in a group as well without getting excited. He is a phenomenal trail horse and will go absolutely anywhere you point him. He will ease up and down the roughest, steepest terrain always taking his time and watching his footing. He crosses all types of water, slippery rocks and fallen trees. We have checked cows off him and even pasture roped a couples calves off him. He is great around wildlife as well. 100% traffic safe! Great around atvs, motorcycles and bicycles. All I can say is if you want the nicest Gaited Spotted gelding out there here is your opportunity because they don’t come like him but once in a lifetime he seriously has it all from his looks, brain and ability.
