This gelding is everything but plain to look at! He is extremely well bred and it shows, not only is he easy on the eye, but he’s an absolute trail blazer and 100% traffic safe! Akira is absolutely safe on the trails and goes over all types of obstacles, bridges, and water. Akira has 2 amazing four beat walking gaits and a super comfy canter. This superstar not only has an amazing stop, he will also spin a hole in the ground like a reining QH. You can even toss the rope off him! On the trails he can keep up with the faster walking horses or he can slow down and walk with the quarter horses. He has a beautiful stop, back up and turn around! He is not buddy or barn sour and rides out by himself or in a group perfectly. On the ground he stands to be groomed, bathed, saddled, and mounted from the ground or mounting block. He loads and unloads, stands cross tied, ground tied and is an easy keeper. We took him camping and he was a dream. He has seen miles and miles of trails and he has been a pleasure to work with and has excelled at everything we threw at him. We even used him to pack a few items to and from our campsite. We have also ridden Akira down the busy roads. He is 100% traffic safe, we had cars all around us while dragging a tarp and he didn’t flinch. This dream horse would be perfect for someone wanting to do parades, camping, beach trail rides or some arena work. If you can steer, stop, and guide, then you’re able to control and get along with Akira. He does not have any buck, bite, bolt or rear ! What you see is exactly what you get.
